“So Hot” Austin, 2019
It’s triple digits in Texas and the air-conditioning in the Prius, which has been weak since last year, just isn’t keeping up! I took it to the shop today and they recharged it with refrigerant, and it’s nice and cold now. However, there’s a leak in one of the parts which would be very expensive to replace, so we’re just going to see how long the refrigerant lasts. I hope we make it through the summer at least. 😱
FYI, the photo above shows 109°F, but I had just gotten into the car which was sitting out in the sun. The actual temperature was a chilly 103°F.
