I recently updated my prescription at the eye doctor and went ahead and ordered a new pair of progressive prescription glasses. I decided to change it up and go with a round metal frame this time instead of the black plastic frames I’ve chosen for the past few years. Actually my first pair of prescription glasses that I bought 22 years ago in Japan (wow, time flies!) were similar to the new ones.
This time around I splurged on the higher-quality lenses to get close to the yearly allowance my insurance covers for frames and lenses. I’ve ordered from Eyebuydirect for a few years now and have been very satisfied with the quality and price. Plus they are a local company, so there’s that.
I’m still getting used to the new progressive lenses, but based on experience, it will only take a day or two for me to adapt to the new glasses. Yay! 👓
