Tonight we went to a soft-opening of our friends’ omakase sushi expansion space called Tonari. The sushi was amazing, and the space is nice and cozy. What’s really cool is that there are tables for upcoming classes, such as pottery, food, and flower arranging.
What sets their omakase apart from other restaurants is that it is a 45-minute omakase, at a more affordable price point. So it’s perfect for a quick but memorable dinner before heading out to a show or night downtown.
Looks fun!
What a beautiful spread of sushi! I’ve been meaning to try an omakase, so yours incites me to get to it sooner than later!
