A co-worker visiting from the UK for a work event gave me a bar of Cadbury chocolate. I recently had a conversation about how chocolate varies by region, so I’m excited to try this UK-made treat!
Today I worked at a company event so I didn’t see the cats all day! Anko was ready to greet me when I returned home in the evening, though. What a sweetie!
It’s Setsubun time again! While we haven’t thrown soybeans at the oni since the kids were little, we still enjoy our ehōmaki. This year, one of the seven ingredients was Korean marinated beef – absolutely delicious!

For Mariko’s birthday, we got her a Google Nest Hub. She had been admiring them at my parents’ and brother’s houses, so we thought she’d enjoy having one of her own. It’s great as a photo frame that cycles through Google Photos.
