I tidied up the office and rearranged some items. It’s starting to come together, but there’s still plenty to do! Next up is decluttering and clearing desk space. Honestly, it’s both fun and satisfying!
I can’t believe it took me 14 years (give or take) to finally buy the adapter that lets me charge Kiki’s battery through the little port on the side. The cable was only $12, and it’s a total game-changer! Before this, I had to unlock the tail trunk with the key, pull a lever to remove the seat, and then attach alligator clips to the battery terminal. This new setup saves so much hassle!
Today, I got a haircut and noticed a line forming outside a new hotpot restaurant. Coincidentally, Mariko prepared a delicious hotpot dinner at home tonight! The chicken meatballs, tofu, and veggies made for a hearty and healthy meal. Soon, though, Mariko and I will try out the new restaurant and see how it is.
I just grabbed book four of Becky Chambers’ Wayfarers series from the library. These books are amazing – I highly recommend them!
Mariko took a cooking class and learned to make a delicious Korean stew – rich, flavorful, and wonderfully comforting.
