I’m so excited that I have some new chili/hot sauces to try! My friend Rebecca at Rebecca Goes Rendezvous recommended the Laoganma “Fried Chili in Oil” sauce, and a chat group I am part of recommended the Fly By Jing “Sichuan Chili Crisp”. And also, my mom send me a bunch of Scotch Bonnet peppers that she grew in her garden. Now that’s a lot of fire in one photo!

And Mariko baked a few loaves of cat-shaped bread, so I had to include that in today’s photo. 🐱🍞

So many good things to look forward to!

Welcome to my food photography blog! 😆 Well, I DO post a lot of photos of our meals, especially since we are staying safe inside.

Today’s photos are of a delcious salmon and spinach creamy pasta, and homemade garlic baguette. The baguette was super-deluxe, with mozzarella cheese stuffed in the slices, and coated liberally with an olive oil, garlic, and herb spread. So yummy!

Bread Fail

Mariko bakes some beautiful bread, but every once in a while something goes wrong. Today, for instance, a large loaf of sandwich bread didn’t bake correctly on the bottom, so it was saggy. The top half was perfect but the bottom half was dough-ey and not done. Oh well, you can’t win ’em all! 😆
