Today Mariko and I visited a brewhouse for lunch, and then joined some friends for a sunset dinner in the Texas Hill Country. This was my first time eating out since March of last year, and it was a little weird at first, but I got used to it quickly. The cold beer helped! 😊🍻

Honestly, seeing friends again was like no time has passed. I guess that’s a good thing, but maybe not? I don’t know, but I do know that I enjoy eating and drinking out.

Today our 16-year-old received his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine! I found a CVS which had an available time-slot, but it was about 45 minutes away from us. It’s a bit of a drive, but it was an easy decision to say yes.

So now, both of our kids have received their first dose, Mariko is scheduled to receive her vaccination this week, and I have received both doses. I’m in a very optimistic mood!
