With a cold front rolling in this evening, I decided to squeeze in one last warm ride. Kiki and I took the scenic route to Sa-Tén for some quality coffee (try the “Ohayo”!) and Kindle time. It was both relaxing and rejuvenating. I don’t venture out much, but I enjoyed it so much that I’m thinking I should make it a habit.

New Riding Jacket
A few weeks ago, I picked up a new riding jacket. My old one, which I used for cold weather, was literally falling apart — the reflective striping had disintegrated. I took that as my cue to upgrade. Luckily, I found a great Revit! jacket on sale at CycleGear, and it fits perfectly! Bonus: it has seven pockets.
I really like the color of the jacket, but it doesn’t quite match my tinted visor. I’m considering switching to a silver or maybe a gold visor. Silver might be the better choice, though. Hmmm… decisions, decisions!
Evening Ride
This evening, I went for a ride with Kiki to test out a new camera angle. I like it, but it could use a bit of fine-tuning.
Afternoon Ride
Today, Kiki and I went for a ride to the café. I was excited to test out a new camera mode on my DJI Action 4, but things didn’t go quite as planned – I accidentally switched the exposure settings to manual, which resulted in all the footage being overexposed and completely unusable. Lesson learned!
On the bright side, the coffee at the café was fantastic, so the trip wasn’t a total loss. 😅
November Ride – Lime Creek Road
It’s still warm here in central Texas, but the upcoming week will bring cool temperatures. This may be the last day of 80-degree riding of 2024! Vroom vroom down Lime Creek Road.
