Our freezer is full of various tamales acquired around Christmas. Even after tonight’s yummy dinner, we still have enough for a couple more. The gift that keeps on giving.

Mariko bought a few dozen (did she say six-dozen?) tamales the other day so we had quite a big feast. Along with the barbacoa and puerco tamales, Mariko made a huge salad which made for a wonderful dinner. And the margaritas weren’t bad either.
